I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

In every business, it's important to note that things can't be rosy at all time, there is bound to be ups and downs in every sphere of business. Business owners fave one or two challenges that may cause the business to disappear into the thin air, which is the downs any business owner could face in his or her business. Most of these businesses we are all seeing around are mostly run by owners acquiring loans from banks and all that to smooth run the business.

My poultry farm and my experience with farmers assisting farmers.

In the past of couple of days, I have been sharing my encounter that has been discouraging concerning the poultry farm business. If you are following my content update very well, you must have read where I pinpointed the difficulty this business has been facing in the past couple of days. Where I discovered that a problem is looming was when I reared my last birds from day old to 10 weeks without selling single birds. Which has been due to fall in market demand and reopen of neighboring borders which really affect the local production of broiler birds.

Though, eventually after series of strenuous marketing I was able to lay these birds off but the too much expenses have eaten away the gain because I was feeding birds from 7 weeks to 10 weeks where the feeding is no longer efficient such that I couldn't get see much gain as I use to before. In this lieu of this, this made me to divert into other business before the business is totally messed up but not that I will leave completely but will be rearing at a very reduced number. The other business I ventured into has not been booming due to location and all that which has affected my financial plans for the poultry farm business.

Though currently I have birds that are already 11 days and feeding them has been a lot difficult to some extent which I have to be sorting their feeding from some co-farmers pending the time that things will get better. Farmers assisting farmers, seriously this part made me love the business more, because to be able to get someone who could help in this hard and trying time in Nigeria really shows how farmers most especially small farmers giving helping hands to one another to make sure that the business itself at large doesn't hit the rock bottom. Kudos to @twicejoy who has rendered a helping hands.🙏🏿
