MAIZE CHALLENGE 2022 // REMOVING THE MAIZE FROM THE CORNCOBS AFTER THEY HAVE DRIED.
As I have stated and promised yesterday that I am going to make a lot out of this maize. The process starts from here. First thing first is disengaging the maize from it cobs. The reason why I am removing the maize from cobs is that, I wanted to use it for two purposes. I will soak a part to make pap and grind the other part to make tuwo agbado( a local swallow made from dried grinded corn)
The means I used to remove the maize from the cobs is through local means with our bear hands. If it's in large quantity, there are agricultural machine that can help with removing the maize from the cobs that won't consume much of your time.
After I was done disengaging the maize from the cobs I picked out the particles from the maize/corn through cleaning process.
Then, wash part of the maize so that it can get soaked for atleast 3 days minimum before I will grind with machine to make pap.

Oh, that's our usual work when we are still young. Removing corn kernel from the corn hub. Sometimes we used bolo or grater.
Same thing here but when were young,we use our bear hands to remove the corn from the cobs. Thanks for sharing opinion. Cheers!🥂
