IT'S HARMATTAN, ALL WANTED AND UNWANTED PLANTS WITHERING AWAY.
I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.
It's harmattan here and all plants are withering away including the weeds, even the stubborn weeds are not excluding. Harmattan period brings about so much dryness that seems unbearable for these plants no matter. Harmattan period brings about dry coldness that there won't be no rain for these plants to live on.
I live in the environment that wanted and unwanted plants can survive so far there is source of water. This is a wanted plant that's being homestead by my Landlord. Its survival to this moment is due to that She takes it upon herself to wet it most of the time but still the Scotch bonnet doesn't look like a plant that is seeing water every day just like it's during the raining season.
This is also a bitter leaf plant that beside my neighbor. This is a plant that I feel can actually survive the test of time. It can survive till when the raining season comes back again, probably early next year.
Most of these weeds that are withering away of the only advantage that the pathways would be bushy for feet to walk through. And moreso, in case there is any dangerous reptiles in between these weeds can easily seen.
Above are stubborn grass that very stubborn to get rid of once they start growing in the environment and their chance of survival is very high even they don't have access to water supply.

This is very good 👍 to stay in area with water during harmattan period. You can plant as many crops without fear. I believe during raining period those area will be flooded with water.
Raining season
This picture was taking three to four weeks ago. Can you believe it that this is my area during raining season. All this while, we have been battling erosion that have affected the landscape and the landslide to the extent that some buildings have disturbed by erosion.
Dry or harmattan season
But when the dry season or harmattan season comes, it would just look like as if water hasn't even pass through the place before. You can compare both pictures above.
