IS HOME DELIVERY ONE OF THE BEST WAY TO MARKET YOUR BROILER BIRDS?

Home delivery is the process of bringing dressed chicken from your farm to the customer's home. Instead of customers to come to your seller's store or sellers farm to buy the dressed broiler birds,seller helps the customers by bringing the products to the predefined location. Before customers can allow you to do home delivery for them, there must have been some level of trust and loyalty. Home delivery allows customers to make direct contact by calling after maybe the customer must have seen the product via online marketing, advertisement or any other means.

Why home delivery can make your stock to emptied as quickly as you want.

There are many ways that a poultry farmer can make his or her product to be marketed as soon as possible which home delivery is one of the means that can make this happen. This is what I do, when it's some days to the time my broiler birds will reach, I will display via my WhatsApp status or through bulk SMS that dressed chicken will be available for sales at a particular date. That's when people will begin to order and some of the customers may even prefer it to be dressed and delivered.

Advantages of home delivery.

  • It makes broiler birds market move faster.

  • It helps build trust between the seller and the customers.

  • It creates friendship between the seller and the buyer.

  • It gives the customers maximum comfortability.

  • It also helps the seller to be ahead of those they are selling the same product. The home delivery service that I am doing makes me to be above and ahead of my business partners because only few of them can offer the kind of service I am rendering.

Sure but home delivery is stressful because some customer will order market when you reach they please they will not be around.

And some did not keep their promise.
