Let's not also forget availability of human and capital resources which shouldn't be swept under the carpet when the talk about price of goods or products come up.

Rough quotation to rear 50 Broiler birds from day old to seven weeks.

For a farmer who's a starter in the poultry farm business, certain things must be put in place the pen or room to rear the birds, feeders and drinkers. These are the major things needed for first timer in the business.

Where expenses lie is the capital for the 50 day old birds and capital for the feeds. The price for fifty day old birds like I have said I'm the past always vary every week, while the price of feed is also seemingly vary due to constant inflation of price of feeds.

The average price for day old could be around N25,000($59), while 7 bags of feed could be around N74,200($178). That is roughly N99,200($238). With drinkers and feeders could make it span up to N120,000($287) because of other expenses excluding the expenses for the pen or brooder room.
