Abundance

Scarcity comes from the belief that life is a constant struggle for resources and there can never be enough for us.

While it's true that life is largely a struggle for finite resources, there is always an opportunity to thrive.

Abundance is the opposite of scarcity, and it's the belief that we have options to shape our lives and realities to our desires. We can grow food, build a business, mend relationships and invest into our community to yield fruit.

The next time the feeling of dread and scarcity crops up on you think about what abundance means for your life. We all know the feeling that scarcity invokes, so we need to take proactive steps to take out throughts captive.

Replace thoughts of scarcity for those of abundance. Refocus on opportunities that arise when resources are tight. Can you reach out to a friend and ask for help? Can you begin the process of education and community building however that may look? Is your situation really that dire, or is there more under the surface than feelings?

Our feelings often betray us. It is well known that one cannot be emotional and logical at the same time, but we currently believe that we can. Emotion should not drive a person to make rash or foolish decisions. Emotions arise and we must rise above them to counter irrational behavior such as scarcity feelings.

Plant your garden and a fertile area and build a strong foundation rooted in logic. Abandon scarcity for abundance and focus on growth over despair.
