Today, I will be contributing to the topic of this week's contest, which is about the “kind of mother I would be”.
In today's world, we've seen how children are wayward. This is because there was no proper home training. Parents are the first teachers at home. What you input in them will definitely speak out, and people will know whether this child is well-trained or not by you.
@peckypeace, is a beautiful future mother, which I won't take my responsibility for granted, and I won't spare the rod and spoil my children. Children are the heritage of the lord, and it is my responsibility to bring them up in a godly way.
Discipline should highly be recommended in the other for our children to be better children.
I will be a mother who is not going to tolerate children's nonsense.
The pivotal points here is that being a good wife to my husband will make me a good mother to my children, and implementation of rules and regulations would be made easier. A mother only cannot train a child. It takes, that's husband and wife to train up a child in a way he should go.
At the tender age is the crucial stage, for parents to teach their children the pertinent things they need to know as they are growing up.
Another thing is that of expressing love language towards my children for them to know my first love language, just like a child learning his or her mother tongue language before exposing the child to the second Language. That's the same, it is expressed in love language. Mothers are the closest friends to their children. Even though, I'm the one who carried them for 9 months in the womb, I shouldn't give any excuse not to discipline my children when they go wrong.
Today, children are no more flogged or disciplined when they go wrong. I can't be a mother who will pet my children.
This is what I can say about my motherhood and I will be a good mother to my children first before other children
A caring and a loving heart of a mother I will be. A forgiving and a rebuking heart I will be.
Thank you for reading.
I love, I care, and I forgive.
I remain @peckypeace.
