The power of wisdom!

Happy Sunday to everyone, I hope you were blessed in today's service in your different denominations. Yeah, I was blessed through the word that comes out of the servant of God's mouth.

I was so blessed. Today, I got to understand what wisdom really means, and I was 'wooed' beholding the another phase of wisdom. No wonder the bible says, wisdom is the principal thing, so get wisdom. Even wisdom is personified in the proverbs, calling everyone to come and hold him.

Therefore, wisdom is a powerful weapon to live a successful life. Wisdom is how you communicate with people in a right way and applying solution to someone's problem.

Let me show us the meaning of wisdom in the book of James 3:13-18.

James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

A wise man would always be seen in a good conversation, always eager to bring meaningful ideas that will benefit and bring solutions to people's problems. A man of wisdom is always willing to learn new things and not proud of his wisdom.

James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

A man with the wisdom of God doesn't envy people's glory, success of others and there will be no bitterness in his heart against others.

James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

The bible says, a man with bitterness against others, that such wisdom is earthly, sensual, and devilish. It doesn't please God, and doesn't reveal the glory of God, but it reveals the glory of the world.

James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Where there is hatred and bitterness, there is confusion and the manifestation of the evil works. As a believer, there should be no strife and war against one another.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

This is the true meaning of wisdom.
Wisdom is pure, peacemaking, gentle, easy to be corrected, full of compassion, and good fruits without partiality and without hypocrisy. This is what wisdom entails.

James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

This is what God expects us to practice as believers. God wants us to have wisdom, so we can relate with people. When righteousness is sown in your heart, you will be able to make peace.
