Good evening friends, may God bless you greatly.
I share with you this parable where Jesus presents a story that illustrates the nature of forgiveness and mercy in the Kingdom of Heaven. The king mentioned in the parable represents God, and the servants are people who are part of his kingdom.

Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And beginning to calculate, a man was presented to him who owed him ten thousand talents. Since he could not pay, his lord ordered him to be sold, along with his wife and children, and everything he had, so that the debt could be paid. Then that servant, prostrate, besought him, saying, Lord, be patient with me, and I will repay you in full. The master of that servant, moved with mercy, released him and forgave him the debt. But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him a hundred denarii; and seizing him, he choked him, saying: Pay me what you owe me. Then his fellow servant fell down at his feet and besought him, saying, Be patient with me, and I will repay you in full. But he did not want to, but went and threw him into prison until he paid the debt. When his fellow servants saw what was happening, they were very sad, and they went and told their master everything that had happened. Then, calling him his master, he said to him: Wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me. Shouldn't you also have mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you? Then his lord, angry, handed him over to the executioners, until he paid everything he owed him. My heavenly Father will do the same to you if you do not forgive your brother with all your heart for his trespasses.

St. Matthew 18:23-35

Amen. Jesus is showing that those who have received God's forgiveness must be willing to forgive others in the same way. Lack of forgiveness and compassion towards others shows ingratitude and lack of understanding about the forgiveness one has received from God. Therefore, Jesus warns that those who do not sincerely forgive their brothers will not receive forgiveness from God in the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a call to reflect on our attitudes towards others and the importance of living in harmony and compassion, following God's example of forgiveness and mercy.
