En los tiempos antiguos hubo muchas discusiones acerca de la salvación, los escribas y fariseos decían que solamente se podía ser salvo cumpliendo la ley, Jesucristo vino para dar cumplimiento a esa ley y así no solamente los judíos sino también los gentiles como se le decía en aquella época a las personas que no eran judías también podría ser salvas, ya no era necesario cumplir la ley solo había que creer que Jesucristo era el hijo de Dios reconocer que uno era pecador y reconocer a Dios Como Señor y Salvador Y de esa manera se podría ser salvo.
Hoy en día esa discusión sigue existiendo donde muchas religiones a través de enseñanzas falsas siguen diciendo que cuanto más obras hagamos más nos merecemos la vida eterna , pero esto no es así, dicen las sagradas escrituras.

Dios conoce el corazón humano y él confirmó que acepta a los gentiles al darles el Espíritu Santo, tal como lo hizo con nosotros.
Él no hizo ninguna distinción entre nosotros y ellos, pues les limpió el corazón por medio de la fe.
