God, knowing that all this is going to happen, imparts promises to his children.
He says his word...

And now, God says to his people: “Do not remember or think about the things of the past anymore. I'm going to do something new, and I've already started doing it. I am making a way in the desert and I will make rivers gush out of the dry land.

For God there is nothing impossible, just hold on to his promises, be faithful and obedient and everything will be fine.
