Good afternoon friends, may God bless you today on this day, today I want to share a story that we can find in the Old Testament, a story where I love how God tells the human being that he wants to live in our room in our heart, in this case He makes the comparison of a woman who welcomes the man of God into her life, the prophet of that time, but she is not content with the man of God spending a couple of hours just at her house. She wants the man of God. feels comfortable and wants to stay much longer in his house, that is why he orders a room to be built in his home where he provides comforts so that this man of God not only spends as he usually did and stays to spend a little time. time but to stay in that place for more days.
This is what God also wants from our lives. He does not want to be a moment where we see his presence with other brothers in a Sunday meeting. He wants us to prepare that place in our hearts day after day. He wants to dwell in our hearts permanently and that is why it is our duty to prepare that place just as this woman in this story known as the Shunammite prepared a room for the man of God to stay in her house. So let us prepare our hearts by moving away from sin seeking the presence of God reading his word having Communion with him praying, This is how we must prepare our hearts so that God dwells permanently in it.

One day, Elisha went to the city of Shunem and a rich woman who lived there insisted that he come to her house to eat. Later, every time he passed by, he stopped at that house to eat something.

Then the woman said to her husband:

«I am sure that this man who passes by here from time to time is a holy man of God.

Let's build a small room on the roof for him and put a bed, a table, a chair and a lamp in it. “This way you will have a place to stay every time you pass through here.”

One day, Elisha returned to Shunem and went up to that room to rest.

2 Kings 4:8-11

Buenas tardes amigos que Dios les bendiga hoy en este día, hoy Quiero compartir una historia que podemos encontrar en el Antiguo Testamento una historia donde me encanta como Dios le dice al ser humano que él quiere habitar en nuestra habitación en nuestro corazón, en este caso él hace la comparación de una mujer que recibe al hombre de Dios en su vida, al profeta de aquel entonces pero ella no se contenta con que el hombre de Dios pase un par de horas nada más en su casa ella quiere que el hombre de Dios se sienta a gusto y se quiera quedar mucho más tiempo en su casa, por eso manda a construir una habitación en su hogar donde le pone comodidades para que ese hombre de Dios no solamente pase como hacía de costumbre y se quede a pasar un poco de tiempo sino que se quede en Aquel lugar más días.
Así es lo que Dios también quiere de nuestras vidas él no quiere ser un momento no quiere ser un momento donde vemos su presencia con otros hermanos en una reunión del domingo él quiere que Día tras día le preparemos ese lugar en nuestro corazón él quiere habitar en nuestro corazón permanentemente y es por eso que es nuestro deber preparar ese lugar así como esta mujer de esta historia conocida como la sunamita le preparó una habitación al hombre de Dios para que se quede en su casa Así preparemos nuestro corazón alejándonos del pecado buscando la presencia de Dios leyendo su palabra teniendo Comunión con él orando, Así es como debemos preparar nuestro corazón para que Dios habite permanente en él.

Cierto día, Eliseo fue a la ciudad de Sunem y una mujer rica que vivía allí le insistió que fuera a comer a su casa. Después, cada vez que él pasaba por allí, se detenía en esa casa para comer algo.

Entonces la mujer le dijo a su esposo:

«Estoy segura de que este hombre que pasa por aquí de vez en cuando es un santo hombre de Dios.

Construyamos un pequeño cuarto en el techo para él y pongámosle una cama, una mesa, una silla y una lámpara. Así tendrá un lugar dónde quedarse cada vez que pase por aquí».

Cierto día, Eliseo regresó a Sunem y subió a ese cuarto para descansar.
