🇪🇸|🇬🇧 Daily Microblogging: A day on the way to the office 💒⛪️🏃
Es increíble como la rutina o cotidianidad en algunos casos hace que perdamos el interés por algunas cosas en este caso lugares.
Mi oficina queda en el centro de la ciudad, y todos los días tengo la dicha de caminar y pasar por lugares pintorescos, turísticos y llenos de historia.
Generalmente, voy de prisa y olvido disfrutar el paso por ahí; sin embargo, en esta oportunidad me impactó ver lo bonita que estaba la plaza.
Esta plaza tiene una característica y es que está a lo largo de una calle y conecta tres iglesias importantes y significativas en la historia de la ciudad.
La Basílica, San Juan de Dios, la casa de la Virgen de la Chiquinquirá, patrona del Zulia, La Iglesia Santa Bárbara y la Catedral de la ciudad.
La plaza del monumento de la Virgen, tiene fuentes de agua en el área central, así como bancas y amplias jardineras.
En el centro de la plaza hay un espacio grande y en ocasiones se utiliza para actos públicos.
En ese espacio se puede observar un monumento vistoso de la Virgen de Chiquinquirá, alrededor hay querubines y fuentes de agua.
Al continuar el recorrido frente a la Iglesia Santa Bárbara se observa una gran escultura de San Sebastián, patrono de la ciudad.
Un espacio muy bonito y acogedor en el centro de la ciudad, donde muchas veces pase sin observar ni disfrutar de su belleza.
Incluso en horas donde el calor y sol castiga sentarse en las bancas bajo algunos árboles que arropan un poco las caminerías es gratificante.

It is amazing how the routine or everyday life in some cases makes us lose interest in some things, in this case places.
My office is in the center of the city, and every day I have the joy of walking and passing by picturesque, touristic and full of history places.
Generally, I go in a hurry and forget to enjoy passing by; however, this time I was shocked to see how beautiful the square was.
This square has a characteristic and that is that it is along a street and connects three important and significant churches in the history of the city.

Continuing the tour in front of the Santa Barbara Church you can see a large sculpture of San Sebastian, patron saint of the city.
A very nice and cozy space in the center of the city, where many times I pass by without observing or enjoying its beauty.
Even in hours when the heat and sun punishes sitting on the benches under some trees that tuck a little walkways is rewarding.
