The Last Forgotten Flower

In my previous article, I gave you all a taste of autumn atmosphere in the city park, and we're sticking around there for now.

This time, I've dusted off my macro gear one last time. Why the last time? Because the days are getting colder, nature's fading, insects are disappearing, and what else is there to shoot with macro? (Sure, you can photograph practically anything macro ‒ pocket watches, mold on potatoes, you name it ‒ but I don't need to get that crazy with it.)

So what do we have here? Some pollinator making one last-ditch effort to squeeze the last drops of October nectar. It's basically an insect Oktoberfest.

The lens I used is a Sigma 18 ‒ 300mm with a 4D macro lens. Nothing fancy, really. The lens itself is pretty standard, on the cheaper side, and the macro lens came from Temu for about five bucks. 😊 But like a friend of mine always says, it's not the kitchen that makes the chef ‒ and results matter more than the methods.

These macro are amazing! So much detalles, very sharp. I am amazed anything from Temu works hahaha.
