Eat fish

What I went out to photograph today will be featured in one of my upcoming articles. As I've mentioned many times before, when photographing nature, you never know what you'll encounter.

Fish are a healthy food. We know this, not just humans, but even creatures like crows.

This particular crow had chosen quite a large morsel - almost bigger than itself. But then again, if you love fish, why hold back? There's never such a thing as too many good fish.

I watched the crow for a while. At first, it tried to pull the fish out of the water but quickly realized it was beyond its strength. It then pecked at the fish for a bit, let me take a photo, and then flew away.

To, co jsem dnes šel fotit, uvidíte v některém z mých příštích článků. Totiž, jak jsem se už mnohokrát zmínil, při focení přírody nikdy nevíte, s čím přijdete.

Ryby jsou zdravé jídlo. To víme nejenom my, lidé, ale třeba i vrány.

Tahle vrána si však vybrala příliš velké sousto ‒ skoro větší, než ona. Na druhou stranu, když máte rádi ryby, proč se omezovat? Dobrých ryb není nikdy dost.

Chvíli jsem tu vránu pozoroval. Napřed se snažila rybu vytáhnout z vody, ale rychle pochopila, že je to nad její síly. Chvíli ji pak ozobávala, nechala mě, ať si ji vyfotím, a pak si odletěla.

Tak dík za fotky, vráno.

Šedivky už dnes moc vidět nejsou. Letos dokonce ani havrani. Bývá jich tu v zimě vždycky spousta, sedávají na topolech kolem. Sem tam mezi nimi i právě ty šedivky, jenže letos si našli nějaké jiné místo. Nebo dík teplé zimě ani nedoletěli.

Tady jich taky bývaly vždycky mraky, někdy to bylo až protivné, jaký dělali kravál. Letos jestli jsem jich viděl dvacet, tak moc. Nebo bylo možná hodně jídla na polích. Je spousta hrabošů, tak možná proto.
