Christmas walk

Czech Christmas is also about a lot of good food. That's why I needed some exercise to digest the carp, salad and cookies, so I went for a walk around the river.

The weather wasn't exactly Christmassy, I almost expected daisies to peep out of the grass and a skylark to screech...

I wasn't going to take many photos, so I left my DSLR at home and thought I'd make do with my mobile phone. And as if on purpose, jays were hanging around me, ducks were landing on the river, even a swan appeared out of nowhere. Well, I wasn't trying for the impossible, you can't use a mobile phone to make a telephoto lens. So I stayed with the landscapes, the river and the forest park in the gradually setting sun.
