Birds - this time with an expert
I occasionally post photos of birds here, as I take them at some of my favorite places (or even by accident). This time it will be a bit different - I took part in "Welcoming Birdsong", i.e. a morning walk in the urban park in Přerov with ornithologist Mgr. Lenka Harmáčková.
Občas sem dávám fotky ptáků, tak jak je pořídím na některých svých oblíbených místech (nebo i náhodou). Tentokrát to bude trošku jiné - zúčastnil jsem se "Vítání ptačího zpěvu", tj. ranní procházky po městském parku v Přerově s ornitoložkou Mgr. Lenkou Harmáčkovou.
It wasn't really a "photographic" event, we heard rather than saw most of the birds, but I still managed to take a few photos.
We started with a bird ringing demonstration.
Nebyla to vyloženě "fotografická" akce, většinu ptáků jsme spíš slyšeli než viděli, ale pár fotek se mi i tak povedlo udělat.
Začali jsme ukázkou kroužkování ptáků.
Then followed our own walk through the park. Although I assumed that we were in a place where there is an abundance of various birds, I was still surprised how many of them live in our park.
The photos show only a small part of what we saw and heard.
Potom následovala vlastní procházka parkem. I když jsem předpokládal, že jsme v místech, kde je hojnost nejrůznějšího ptactva, byl jsem i tak překvapený, kolik toho u nás v parku žije. Několikero druhů pěnkav, pěnic, rehků. Špačci, vrabci, krutihlavi... Holubi hřivnáči, kteří dříve žili jen v lesích, ale teď už dokonce vytlačují běžné městské holuby.
Na fotkách je jen nepatrná část toho, co jsme viděli a slyšeli.

Na této fotce je hnízdo holuba hřivnáče. Na první pohled je to jen hromada klacků, která sotva drží pohromadě.
And this is a kestrel. She was checking the lawn from a high branch to see if she could see any mice.
A toto je poštolka. Z vysoké větve zkoumala trávník, jestli neuvidí nějakou myšku.
I had to get up unusually early for this event, but I think it was worth it. I came back educated and in a good mood.
Kvůli této akci jsem sice musel neobvykle brzy ráno vstávat, ale myslím, že stála za to. Vrátil jsem se poučen a dobře naladěn.
