At last, some winter

It's only the second time this winter that it's really snowing here.

When I woke up in the morning and looked out the window, I finally felt like it was winter. On my way to work, I couldn't resist taking a few photos in the morning light.

Last week, we had spring-like weather; I even saw photos of snowdrops on social media. And a week has turned around - and the snowdrifts are back again.

After all, according to the calendar, it's all right.

Je to snad tuto zimu teprve podruhé, co u nás pořádně sněží.

Když jsem se ráno probudil a pohlédl z okna, konečně jsem si připadal jako v zimě. A cestou do práce jsem neodolal a udělal pár fotek v ranním svítání.

Minulý týden bylo u nás jarní počasí, dokonce jsem na sociálních sítích viděl fotky sněženek. A týden se otočil - a už jsou tu zase závěje.

Ostatně, podle kalendáře je to v pořádku.

It might seem from the text that I was even looking forward to the snow. Well, to be honest, I’m not a big fan of winter (and my favorite winter sport is hibernation 😁 😁). But on the other hand, nature needs it.

Možná to z textu vypadá, že jsem se na sníh i těšil. No, upřímně řečeno, já moc zimu rád nemám (a můj nejoblíbenější zimní sport je zimní spánek 😁 😁). Ale na druhou stranu, příroda to potřebuje.
