A few photos over the wing

There are perhaps no more notorious photos than "over the wing" from an airplane window.

Every time I think "it's always the same", and every time I can't resist taking pictures.

The first photo was taken shortly after take-off from Vienna. What peeks out from the low clouds could be the peaks of the Austrian Totes Gebirge.

Není snad více profláknutějších fotek, než "přes křídlo" z okénka letadla.

Pokaždé si říkám "vzdyť je to pokaždé stejné", a pokaždé neodolám a fotím.

První fotka byla pořízená krátce po startu z Vídně. To, co se vystrkuje z nízkých mraků, by mohly být vrcholky rakouského pohoří Totes Gebirge.

Soon we got to a higher flight level and the ground disappeared from our sight. The next photos are from about ten thousand meters and the thick cloud cover below us looks like a groomed snow surface.

Zakrátko jsme se dostali do vyšší letové hladiny a země nám už zmizela z dohledu. Další fotky jsou cca z deseti tisíc metrů a hustá oblačnost pod námi vypadá jako upravená sněhová plocha.

A few tens of minutes later the setting sun began to colour the sky and the clouds with evening reds.

O pár desítek minut později začalo zapadající slunce barvit oblohu i mračna večerními červánky.

For aircraft, it is important that the number of take-offs is the same as the number of landings. We will be landing in Brussels. We're coming in from the south, so we've probably just flown over the famous village of Waterloo.

U letadel je důležité, aby počet vzletů byl stejný, jako počet přistání. Budeme přistávat v Bruselu. Přilétáme od jihu, takže jsme asi zrovna přeletěli přes známou obec Waterloo.

On the way back from Brussels to Vienna, I will again offer a view of the Austrian mountain range with the rather depressing name of Totes Gebirge - Dead Mountains. This time in the morning sun.

But someone told me that the Julian Alps, about 250 km away, could be on the horizon. I don't know, I can't guess.

Ze zpáteční cesty z Bruselu do Vídně opět nabídnu pohled na rakouské pohoří s poněkud depresívním názvem Totes Gebirge - Mrtvé Hory. Tentokrát v dopoledním slunci.

Někdo mi ale říkal, že na obzoru by to mohly být i cca 250 km vzdálené Julské Alpy. Nevím, neumím to odhadnout.

Nicméně tuto fotku pošlu do #aroundtheworld

Our return flight ends at Vienna airport. Last photo with the wing of the Airbus A-320 with the aerodynamic brakes up.

Náš zpáteční let končí na vídeňském letišti. Poslední fotka s křídlem Airbusu A-320 s vysunutými aerodynamickými brzdami.

Pokaždé, když vidím někoho, kdo takhle fotí, říkám si: "Bóóže, to letíš poprvý?" ;)

Protože ty okýnka jsou vždycky ušmudlaný a když fotíš mobilem, fotky jsou stejně na prd. Navíc si většinou to sedadlo u okýnka bookuju já, na těch zbývajících se mi špatně spí, takže se často nahýbají přese mě.

Someday i wish to travel by plane too ,and experience this amazing feelings of seing nature at its best and beauty too ..
I love all this pictures especially the one with clouds,.its really nice to explore and see this part of natures beauty in the air ..
