Still at the festival.
Our biggest religious festival is Durga Puja. Happy Vijaya today. On the fifth day of Puja, I went to various places in Kolkata to see the Durgo Festival. I have taken a lot of photography around various pandals in Kolkata, I will share them with you all in separate episodes.
On Panchami day, I left home around 11 am with the intention of visiting Calcutta pujas. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Sealdah station from our nearest railway station.
I have already shared with you one of the pujas that I saw after walking down there. That puja pandel was Durgotsava pandel of Shatadal Sangh. After going a little further through that puja pandal, I got to see the puja pandal shared today. This pooja pandal was quite small and the name of the club was not mentioned anywhere. Maybe the local people did it.
Visiting this puja mandap, I liked seeing the macaw birds here. The macaw bird was very big and very beautiful. It was in front of the puja mandap and visitors were taking photographs with this macaw bird while going there to watch the puja. Macaw owners were charging 30 taka from everyone for beautiful photography. Anyway, I have shared some of the photographs taken from there...
