Your absence makes me cease to exist

Image
Your absence makes me cease to exist,
like a whisper in the breeze, an echo in the sea,
every shadow that remains invites me to suffer,
and the clock stops, not knowing what to cry for.
Your absence is a blank canvas,
painting memories in shades of melancholy,
words flow like rivers on the bank,
from a broken heart that longs for the day.
You make me write verses, to the rhythm of pain,
each stanza is a lament, each rhyme a longing,
and in each line I find a piece of love,
even though silence screams your name, a sleepless night.
Your absence makes me cease to exist,
but always, in my verses, you will find your place,
even though this loss hurts, I will continue for the sake of continuing,
I will make you immortal, even if I have to cry.
