We are much more than meets the eye
We are much more than meets the eye. We are the hands that silently caress when words fall short, the phrases that comfort when the soul is broken, the kisses we give without asking for anything in return.
We are the voice that brings calm in the midst of turmoil, the embrace that stops the clock for a moment.
We dwell in the small gestures that transform lives. We are the answer someone needed to hear, the peaceful awakening of someone who felt lost, the liberating laughter in the midst of sadness, the silent presence that supports without fanfare.
We become the memory someone treasures delicately, the calm after the storm, the hope that is not yet recognised.
We exist not only as individuals, but as refuges. We are those moments that remain when everything else fades away, the comforting echo of ‘everything will be alright’. In the simplest details, in what seems insignificant, lies our true essence.
And even though we sometimes forget it, absorbed by the noise of the world, we continue to be light. Perhaps small, but constant. Just like the stars that illuminate the night, we shine in someone's darkness without even being aware of it.
