Bathing in the river
It is wonderful to have a spa near the house and even more so when it is free and natural, as is our case where the river is close to the village and where families go to have direct contact with nature.
We are no exception and we take every opportunity to immerse ourselves in these cold waters that scare our demons and give us a wonderful state of relaxation, and also allows us to share with friends and family.
Here I leave you with some pictures of families from the village and many children who, given the shallowness of the river, find it spectacular to play and have fun.
I am one of those who prefer rivers to the sea, although both have their charm, but perhaps the fact that since I was a child I have bathed in the former has influenced this taste.
When there is rainy season the river grows and it is not so safe, but it is the time when the fish serve as food on the tables of the people, as the currents force them to seek refuge in small lagoons where people go to fish for them.
I don't know much about the species or names of fish but I know that there are echiquitico and they are very tasty in soups and some people even say that they have aphrodisiac properties.
