If I remember correctly, it must have been 2023. In May, we went on a two-day camping trip to a place called Gelidonya, in the Kumluca district of Antalya. I took the picture above at that time. Our adventure, which began with this beautiful view that appeared before me from a hilltop as we were heading towards the campsite, lasted two days. Looking down at the bay, it seemed as if a small piece of the world's paradise corners had been placed here. It was a small, quiet bay reserved for people to simply relax. The deep blue and clear water of the sea became more beautiful as it went deeper, starting from the shore. The lines left by the waves crashing on the shore shifted independently. The only witness to the deep blue of the sea, the vibrant colors of nature, and the gentle caressing of the waves on the shore was the wooden pier standing there in the middle of the sea.

Doğru hatırlıyorsam, 2023 yılı olmalıydı. Mayıs ayında, Antalya'nın Kumluca ilçesindeki Gelidonya adlı bir yere iki günlük bir kamp gezisine gittik. Yukarıdaki fotoğrafı o zaman çektim. Kamp alanına doğru giderken bir tepeden karşıma çıkan bu güzel manzarayla başlayan maceramız iki gün sürdü. That same year, a little further along that beautiful bay, we were faced with the view of the deep blue water nestled among the pine trees. Looking at the photograph, one feels like running down to that spot when seeing the clear, blue water. The dry leaves on the ground, the small stones embedded in the soil, and the faint footprints, along with the vibrant colors visible through the branches, revealed all the beauty of nature. It was as if the branches of the trees had framed the deep blue image of the sea, enveloping it completely.

Aynı yıl, o güzel koyun biraz ilerisinde, çam ağaçlarının arasına gizlenmiş masmavi suların manzarasıyla karşılaştık. Fotoğrafa bakınca, berrak mavi suyu görünce insan hemen oraya koşmak istiyor. Yerdeki kuru yapraklar, toprağa gömülü küçük taşlar ve silik ayak izleri, dalların arasından görünen canlı renklerle birlikte doğanın tüm güzelliğini ortaya koyuyordu. Sanki ağaçların dalları denizin masmavi görüntüsünü çerçevelemiş, onu tamamen sarmıştı.

This picture is a memento of our two-day holiday at the Olimpos resort, also located in the Kumluca district of Antalya. They've arranged small bungalow houses in rows amidst nature. The unpretentious, natural appearance of the houses, with their wooden planks covered in plants, grasses, and bushes, is refreshing. This picture gave me the feeling of having come to stay in nature's home, strolling among the rooms and benches scattered among the olive trees. Look, the trees and their branches seem to be a part of the houses, covering the roofs and providing shade for the benches. We stayed at this accommodation for two days. The best part of the resort was the narrow, stone-paved paths laid on the ground. And also, the service concept, completely different from the ultra all-inclusive service offered by five-star hotels, offered a feeling of being alone with yourself.

This picture was taken during a trip to the ancient city of Xanthos, located in the Kaş district of Antalya. The best part of this memory was that it was my first trip to a historical site with my daughter. I was so happy to be walking with her on these stone steps, where thousands of years ago people gathered to watch plays performed in this theater. As you look at the plants and grasses growing between these stone steps, you remember the traces of what happened here. These stones, once filled with applause and laughter, now seem silent and abandoned. As you walk on these stones, you add a small story of your own to time. The most beautiful part of the picture is the vibrant, bright green grass in the middle of the theater stage.

Bu fotoğraf, Antalya'nın Kaş ilçesinde bulunan antik Xanthos kentine yaptığımız bir gezi sırasında çekildi. Bu anının en güzel yanı, kızımla birlikte bir tarihi mekanı ilk ziyaret etmemdi. Binlerce yıl önce insanların bu tiyatroda sergilenen oyunları izlemek için toplandığı bu taş basamaklarda onunla birlikte yürümek beni çok mutlu etti. This picture shows the area where the Valley of Butterflies is located. We went there in April 2023. The photos of this area are especially beautiful in spring and autumn, but completely different. Looking at the view, you immediately get the feeling of a hidden paradise corner on the island. The bay, clearly visible from the hilltop, seems to shout to us how powerful nature is. The harsh and sharp lines of the high rocks seem to merge with the deep blue of the sea. It gives the impression that two different characters, one soft and the other harsh, meet in the same frame. The bay, which looks tiny from above, actually resembles a mysterious island revealing all the realities of ancient history and life. Sometimes people have to make the effort to climb to the top of the hill to see beautiful views. I think this view is one of the rare ones you can see after a tiring journey.

You know how when you look at a city from afar, its sparkle reflects on your face? Well, this picture showcases the city's dazzling light. This is a distant view of the harbor in Fethiye, one of the largest districts of Muğla. The sea seems to have seeped into the town. The green trees nestled between the small, red-roofed houses, and the boats floating on the water, all come together to beautify the scene. From a distance, the houses appear tiny. The streets between the houses seem to have disappeared. Our reason for coming to this region was to visit the royal tombs located here. I remember it very well. We really liked the magnificent historical structure called the King's Tombs. In this historical structure, we saw the royal tombs carved into the mountain.

In this picture, we were hiking on the Lycian Way trails in Ölüdeniz, one of Fethiye's most beautiful coastal towns. On this rocky, earthy, and winding mountain path, we met many new friends. We enjoyed the walk so much that we would suddenly fall in love with the sky and sea that appeared before us from behind the mountain after a bend in the road. On one side, the deep blue sea defined by the edge of the cliff, and on the other, the rocks clinging to the slopes and the green grass sprouting from between them, revealed all the beauty of nature.

Bu fotoğrafta, Fethiye'nin en güzel sahil kasabalarından biri olan Ölüdeniz'de Likya Yolu patikalarında yürüyüş yaparken görülüyor. Bu kayalık, toprak ve kıvrımlı dağ yolunda birçok yeni arkadaş edindik. Yürüyüşten o kadar keyif aldık ki, yolun bir virajından sonra dağın arkasından önümüzde beliren gökyüzü ve denize birden aşık oluyorduk. Bir yanda uçurumun kenarıyla belirlenen masmavi deniz, diğer yanda yamaçlara tutunan kayalar ve aralarından fışkıran yeşil otlar, doğanın tüm güzelliğini gözler önüne seriyordu.

The place in this picture is called Katrancı Nature Park. We came to this beautiful bay on the recommendation of people we met while visiting Fethiye town. The sea, hidden in the shade of the greenery, is quiet and calm. Gentle ripples are visible on the surface of the water. People have built small lives for themselves on the shore of the bay. The structures, which seem to be intertwined with nature, evoke a sense of history when viewed from afar. The green slopes leaning against the opposite shore tell the story of how slowly time flows here. We tried to explore the park by walking along the narrow, speckled wooden path, passing through the small lives that people have built here. In the summer, the area around the park gets very crowded. In fact, those who approach the shore in small boats take visitors on tours of the most beautiful parts of the bay on the sea.

Bu resimdeki yerin adı Katrancı Doğa Parkı. Fethiye'yi ziyaret ederken tanıştığımız kişilerin tavsiyesi üzerine bu güzel koya geldik. Yeşilliklerin gölgesinde saklı deniz, sakin ve durgun. Suyun yüzeyinde hafif dalgalanmalar görülebiliyor. İnsanlar koyun kıyısında kendilerine küçük yaşam alanları kurmuşlar. Doğayla iç içe geçmiş gibi görünen yapılar, uzaktan bakıldığında bir tarih duygusu uyandırıyor. Karşı kıyıya yaslanan yeşil yamaçlar, burada zamanın ne kadar yavaş aktığını anlatıyor. İnsanların burada kurduğu küçük yaşam alanlarının arasından geçerek, dar, benekli ahşap patikadan yürüyerek parkı keşfetmeye çalıştık. Yaz aylarında parkın çevresi çok kalabalıklaşıyor. Hatta kıyıya küçük teknelerle gelenler, ziyaretçileri denizde koyun en güzel yerlerine turlar düzenliyorlar.
