The melancholic young woman is a digital work in several steps. I started with a direct shot of the young model sitting on some fabrics. Her attitude is melancholic, distant, twirling her hair with her hands. This is the photograph without any editing, just with a white balance and level correction:

La joven melancólica es un trabajo digital en varios pasos. Comencé con una toma directa de la joven modelo sentada sobre unas telas. Su actitud es melancólica, distante, enroscando su pelo con las manos. Esta es la fotografía sin ninguna edición, sólo con un balance de blanco y corrección de niveles:

Then I added some texture to the background:

Then I thought about adding some small leaves with some digital brushes that I found on the internet:

Después pensé en colocarle unas pequeñas hojas con unos pinceles digitales que encontré en internet:

Finally I added a layer of color and a few more small touches. Here we see the final result in this screenshot:
