Pictorialism

This is a series of photographs that emulate pictorialism.

Esta es una serie de fotografías que emulan el pictorialismo.

Pictorialism was a photographic movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These pictorialist photographs sought artistic language through the elements of photography. It can be linked to painting due to the aesthetic searches of the time, but pictorialist photographers did not imitate paintings through photos.

El pictorialismo fue un movimiento fotográfico de finales del XIX y principios del siglo XX. Estas fotografías pictorialistas buscaban el lenguaje artístico a través de los elementos de la fotografía. Se lo puede vincular a la pintura por las búsquedas estéticas de la época, pero los fotógrafos pictorialistas no imitaban a la pinturas a través de las fotos.

I took these photographs in the studio with a modern digital camera. I used a Nikon D7000 and Nikon 55 300mm lens. The idea of using this type of lens was to take details and get closer to the scene. The model is a beautiful actress who got involved with the subject and recreated it very well.
Then with the digital edition I managed to emulate those images taken with analog cameras of that time.

Estas fotografías las tomé en estudio con una cámara digital moderna. Utilicé una Nikon D7000 y lente Nikon 55 300 mm. La idea de usar este tipo de lente era para tomar detalles y acercarme mas a la escena. La modelo es una bella actriz que se involucró con el tema y lo recreo muy bien.
Luego con la edición digital logré emular esas imágenes tomadas con cámaras analógicas de aquella época.
