PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography Round 175
This image is from the La Boca neighborhood in Buenos Aires. It shows the artwork "The Third Paradise" by artist Michelangelo Pistoletto floating on the waters of the Riachuelo River. The installation was created using thousands of recycled plastic bottles, colored by local residents and children. The artwork aims to reflect a balance between nature and technology. In addition to the bottles, the structure incorporates native vegetation such as water hyacinths to aid in the ecosystem's recovery. This is my post for this week.
Esta imagen es del barrio de La Boca, en Buenos Aires. Y muestra la obra artística "El Tercer Paraíso" del artista Michelangelo Pistoletto flotando sobre las aguas del Riachuelo. La instalación fue creada utilizando miles de botellas de plástico reutilizadas, coloreadas por vecinos y niños. La obra busca reflejar un equilibrio entre la naturaleza y la tecnología. Además de las botellas, la estructura incorpora vegetación nativa como camalotes para ayudar a la recuperación del ecosistema. Esta es mi entrada para esta semana.
