Wrapping up, living the rich life

Oh, I was missing this.

Vacations. One full week in a foreign country, wandering around without schedules or fixed plans. As all good things, it's coming to an end. And in my last day, back to Tirana, decided to pamper myself a little bit.

Not planning things in advance also comes with its downfalls, such as higher prices in this case, which meant budgeting a little bid on the accomodations for the week. So in my last night... luxury it was!

I was able to find a pretty decent price in a fantastic hotel, that has a sky bar on the 18th floor, with 360° views over the city. How cool is that?

The view really was as one would expect: awesome. Seeing the city from above at the golden hour was bliss.

More than what I usually spend per night when traveling? For sure. Worth it? F%@k yeah! A lovely room, a confy bed, a gorgeous view, and a continental breakfast again with a wonderful city view the next morning.

Money doesn't buy happiness... but it doesn't hurt it either, does it? 😁

And to continue to immerse in the millionaire's life, nothing like enjoying the perks of having a card that gives some access to the VIP lounges at the airport... and enjoy the last hours in the city!

Back to day to day reality in a few hours, to the plain old non-millionaire me. But going back with great memories, and fortunately, the things that give me more pleasure, such as contemplating all the natural beauties the country has, are free.

There's still so much left to explore. I've passed through natural parks with apparently great hiking trails, but the limited time and the crazy heat didn't made them a viable alternative this time. But it's definitely a country that deserves another visit!

Proper posts will be done (hopefully) about some of the highlights of the country, and there are plenty of them. For now... off to the airplane!
