The street: A set of photographs // Visual Shots Contest

Hello, welcome to my blog. Street photography is the theme of the contest in the @visualshots Community and I'm joining in with some photos I took exclusively for this initiative. When I go out with my youngest son to school or to his doctor's appointments, I walk around seeing so many scenes worthy of immortalizing in a photograph. I think it is enough to go out to see many situations that have artistic beauty and I also regret not being so fast to capture the right moment.

However, you can always get some material by watching the development of urban life. Looking here and there, informal commerce abounds. There are many street vendors and the elderly are forced to have the strength to go out every day to work. I see in the streets many queues or tacos, as they say in Colombia, but it calls my attention when it is due to recklessness and a police officer is involved, causing chaos because people do not know how to organize themselves until a traffic prosecutor arrives to bring order. Between the good and the bad that happens in the daily life of urban environments, we see that everything can give us propitious scenarios for a few street photographs.

¡Hola! Bienvenidos a mi blog. La fotografía callejera es el tema del concurso en la Comunidad @visualshots y me uno con unas fotos que tomé exclusivamente para esta iniciativa. En las salidas con mi hijo menor a la escuela o a sus consultas médicas voy caminando viendo tantas escenas dignas de inmortalizar en una fotografía. Creo que basta salir para ver muchas situaciones que tienen belleza artística y también lamento no ser tan rápida para captar el justo instante.

Sin embargo, siempre se puede conseguir algo de material viendo el desarrollo de la vida urbana. Mirando aquí y allá, pues abunda el comercio informal. Hay muchos vendedores ambulantes y las personas de la tercera edad están obligadas a tener fuerzas para salir todos los días a trabajar. Veo en las calles muchas colas o tacos, como dicen en Colombia, pero me llama la atención cuando es por imprudencia y está involucrado un funcionario policial, ocasionando un caos porque las personas no saben organizarse hasta que llega un fiscal de transito a poner el orden. Entre lo bueno y lo malo que sucede en la vida diaria de los ambientes urbanos, vemos que todo nos puede regalar escenarios propicios para unas cuantas fotografías callejeras.
