More photos of the caterpillar / Exhibition in Color and Black & White

Hello, welcome to my blog.

I continue with photography, something I enjoy and am taking up again as part of my posts on Hive. I'm continuing with the white, hairy caterpillar, a creature I introduced in my previous post.

For this exhibition, I chose a group of sixteen photos that you will see in color, and at the end, I present them in black and white. I hope it is enjoyable material for those who post on @visualshots.

Hola, les doy la bienvenida a mi blog.
Continúo con la fotografía, algo que disfruto y que estoy retomando en mis publicaciones en Hive. Continúo con la oruga blanca y peluda, un bicho que presenté en mi publicación anterior.
Para esta exposición, seleccioné un grupo de dieciséis fotos que podrán ver en color y, al final, las presento en blanco y negro. Espero que sea un material agradable para quienes publican en @visualshots .

I want to tell you that this little worm wouldn't stop moving, and neither would I, so we were together exploring various settings. My little friend was ready to run away, of course, but I was also determined to get several photos. I imagine he was tired of me because I wouldn't let him escape, so much so that when he hid, I would place a twig, a leaf, or a stick that he could use to keep moving while I took pictures.

Quiero contarles que este gusanito no paraba de moverse, y yo tampoco, así que estuvimos juntos explorando varios escenarios. Mi amiguito estaba listo para salir corriendo, por supuesto, pero yo también estaba decidido a sacar varias fotos. Imagino que estaba harto de mí porque no lo dejaba escapar, tanto que cuando se escondía, le ponía una ramita, una hoja o un palo para que siguiera moviéndose mientras yo le tomaba fotos.

For many years now, I have enjoyed taking pictures of insects, among other things, and although it is not an easy task to photograph them, I manage to do so even with my reduced mobility, which definitely does not limit me that much in achieving acceptable results in what I do.

Desde hace muchos años disfruto tomando fotografías de bichos, entre otras cosas, y aunque no es una tarea fácil fotografiarlos, logro hacerlo incluso con mi movilidad reducida, lo que definitivamente no me limita tanto para lograr resultados aceptables en lo que hago.

So, I prefer to tell myself that photographing bugs isn't that difficult, and that's why I try to push myself until I see how good or bad the result is. Although I admit that some of them scare me, they also make me curious, which is why I'm interested in capturing details up close, as far as the camera I'm using and the bug itself allow me to, because I'm a coward—don't think I'm very brave.

Así que prefiero convencerme de que fotografiar insectos no es tan difícil, y por eso intento esforzarme hasta ver qué tan bueno o malo es el resultado. Aunque admito que algunos me asustan, también me despiertan curiosidad, por eso me interesa capturar detalles de cerca, siempre que la cámara y el propio bicho me lo permitan, porque soy un cobarde; no crean que soy muy valiente.

My old Olympus FE-46 12MP camera was the one I used with this cute-looking little worm that inspired respect in me. That's why I preferred not to touch it while I followed it with my camera lens. This little creature served as my model for an endless photo shoot, for which I thanked it, as I usually do with all the living beings I photograph.

Mi vieja cámara Olympus FE-46 de 12 MP fue la que usé con este gusanito tan adorable que me inspiraba respeto. Por eso preferí no tocarlo mientras lo seguía con el objetivo. Esta criaturita me sirvió de modelo para una interminable sesión de fotos, por la que le di las gracias, como suelo hacer con todos los seres vivos que fotografío.

Una escena que represento con un GIF, cuando la oruga trepa por un muro de piedra y encima de esta había una hormiga que también trepaba, pero sobre su esponjosa peluca blanca.
