Winter takes its revenge.

What a letdown, as the few warm days that we had, were just a taste of spring. This was the view when we left our house early morning.

I took the shots periodically throughout the day, morning (2 shots), noon (2 shots) and late afternoon (3 shots). Then I conclude with a sunset (2 shots).

The three warm days fooled not only us, but also the fruit trees as they all started to blossom too soon. Winter decided to return with a vengeance, and the cold has returned, let's just hope that the blossoms will not be damaged by the cold. Apparently, a new cold front has us in its grip and I am sure it's that guy El Nino again. We even have some Jasmine blossoms in our car and the smell of it is so lovely when we drive around.

So, let me show you the photos as I am sure that each of the pictures will tell you all about the cold.

Even a bit of a cold sunset.

One can never be sure about the weather here at the southern tip of the African continent, as we are wide open to the Atlantic Ocean, and I can tell you that it is a very wild ocean. Many stories exist online that talk about the whims and moods of the Atlantic Ocean, probably because the cold water that comes down from the Antarctic. We lived for most of our lives up in the hot north of the country, and it was a major adjustment that we had to make to survive the weather here.

We just got news about the passing of my wife's aunt (84 years), and we feel as heavy as all of the cold clouds, as she was a very special person. But she struggled severely with her health during the last two years, and we were expecting that she would not make it this week in the ICU of the hospital. We are, however, thankful she is out of pain now. She used to call me her favorite nephew :)
Such is life.
