White summer Christmas skies...
...and it's weird, as the day was hot and there was no mist anywhere.

Everyone is talking about the weather here, as we are also battered by very strong winds every day. All of what you will see in here was taken in the early morning, and in another post, I will show you what things looked like in the afternoon.
We love the mountains, and so we went out to see what was going on in nature. And oh yes, we found some great views of the clouds on the mountain peaks. A strange light was at play, and it was almost as if one is looking through a haze. The days are very hot here lately, and in some areas of the province the temperatures are nudging the 40 degrees Celsius. Thankfully we have not reached there yet, as we are tinkering around in the late 20s and early 30s.
But let me not just talk, as I will rather show you what I mean.
Come and have a look.
I don't know what to call this, as it's not a mountain silhouette.
Two wider versions below.
Our famous signal mountain also had a great white cloud background.
Here you can see the sun trying to break through, but it had no chance. You can see the white clouds on the mountains at the bottom of the picture.
And here below I will show you how the wind played with the clouds.
Now and then, a break would appear in the clouds, but it was covered over in a few minutes by the wind driven clouds.
When the wind is up, the birds fly around at rocket speed.
Finally this was how it carried on for the whole day.
We really have some lovely cloud views when a strong high wind is active, and it normally ends in a great sunset. In this case I couldn't get the sunset, as we were busy with something else. But there will always be a next time to get the sunsets. For now, these sights always amaze me, and the power of the wind stripping and streaming the clouds make for great shows in the sky. Then of course, the clouds resting on the mountains on the windy days also add to the forever changing and amazing views.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Hi.
The clouds over the mountains in the first photos are stunning! The ones in the last photo are indescribable.
