Stunning weather changes.

As I stepped out of the house this morning, a bird came to tell me that the mountains wanted to see me.

I saw the clouds far off and we jumped into the car to go and see what the mountains wanted.

The weatherman said it would be 20C today with a smattering of cloud, so the mountains told me that they decided to do something different that my camera would like, and it was indeed a showcase of epidemical proportions.
The clouds were trying their best to impress us as all of the views in the four directions, North, South, East, and West, were amazing to see.
Come and have a look below.

Here we were on our way to the mountains and just look at the beauty.

Some Sacred Ibis birds came flying over.

Dramatic views all over the place and I love this photo below, as I was standing under the tree that you see overhead.

I want to show you how quickly things change. This was an earlier shot of one of the mountains towards the north.

Twenty minutes later and look what it looks like below.

The dark started to come in and some fine little fairy drops also tickled my ears.

A final look on our way out.

Oh, and I forget, the moon also made an appearance.

I have spoken before about the quick and amazing weather changes around here, and the dramatics of this morning are now over with an almost clear blue sky. Sadly it did not rain, as the clouds were all on their way inland to hopefully go and rain in some areas that are suffering from droughts.
So wonderful just to be able to see, firsthand, how the strong winds drive the clouds along at speed, with dramatic changes in the views.
So I thank the mountains for showing me this beauty and then we were off to a charity meeting.

Lately we are struggling severely with powercuts and we have already had two today. The last one was at 10am to 12:30 and that is why I am late with my first post today. But we endure as there is nothing else that we can do, and I don't like to moan.

I hope that you have enjoyed the photos and the story.

And That's All Friends.
