Random views that can stroke one's soul by the beauty of nature.

We hope that everyone will have a good weekend, and that it releases some stresses built up during a trying week. A time to lay the burdens down, and to unite with families. So many of us just continue to also work on weekends, and it hastens the ageing processes. I can talk, as now in my old age I have personal experience about the ravages that we put our bodies through. So, the body rebels and it starts to take its revenge for all of the mistreatments.

Not a good way to be, but I am only trying to impress on you the necessity of taking breaks and to rest regularly. The weekends lend an ideal opportunity to shake it all off and to recharge the batteries. On another note, somebody has to invent a silencer for our gas kettle, as its whistle when it's boiled works on my nerves. Total silence is shattered by the panicked scream by the kettle, but we have to endure it as it's expensive to use an electric kettle.
In any case come and have a look at the views.

That flying pair of geese was very high up below one of the cloud streams.

By now most of you know about our love for nature, and the many sadnesses that mankind bestows upon it. A public notice by The Endangered Wildlife Trust went out regarding their census of counting the Blue Cranes, Grey Crowned Cranes, and the Wattled Cranes, and their locations. And they are asking the public to report sightings of these birds as they are on the endangered list. Heaven forbid that the birds become extinct due to their habitats being destroyed by mankind's relentless destruction in order to farm, and also to get space to plant fodder for their cattle. The high electrical cables also kill many of the birds when they are in flight. So let's hope that the results of the census will be good.

Finally, the clouds started to solidify.

We saw some Blue Crane birds last year, but nothing yet this year, and we will continue to keep an eye out for them. Just know that other big birds like buzzards and hawks are also being electrocuted by the electrical cables. So, when I look at the unusual views such as the cloud formations in this post, it also informs me that we are in trouble with regards to the weather patterns. For instance, the flowers have started growing and the Cape is renowned for its carpets of flowers in many towns and farms. It is said that they are flowering earlier every year, and this year is like that as we are still in Winter.

The content of this post is what I think about continually, and nature is angry all over the world. Severe fires in Europe, heatwaves, earthquakes, and so much else tell us that we are in some real trouble. Not only that, but to make matters worse there are wars breaking out all over the place and many are killed. So, we cling to the peace in nature as that is what life was supposed to be, and it certainly brings a sense of peace into our hearts. Just the way that things were meant to be.
Such is life.
