We have restoration laws here, but sadly they are not heeded, and if people have money, they can build where they please. When a mine is mined out, no restoration takes place, and the ugly scars can be seen all over the place. Thankfully the mountain dumps of sand higher up in the country are being remined by sifting the sand for fine gold, and I think the mined sand are being pumped back down the mine shafts.

Glad that you liked the all in 1 shot, and you are right, as winter hasn't given up over here yet, as we have some new cold fronts on its way over the Atlantic Ocean, bringing in rain and icy winds.
