Now to share a sunrise.
I shared a sunset yesterday and was blessed with a sunrise the following morning.

Not that I can get a sunrise from our house, as the house faces the west, and the sun rises in the east. But on this day, something whispered to me in my ear to take the car, and to go and look at the east. So, we went and the rest is now history. But it remains in one's memory banks for a long time, as it was really a special occasion.
We arrived early and I got two shots of the mountain below to show me that something very special was in the works, as for a long time I have not seen clouds like this. Definitely not an everyday occurrence, as I said that we don't often get the sunrises due to the mountains blocking them, and by the time that the colors of the sunrise appear from behind the mountains, they are very watered down, but thankfully not this morning.
Just look how that cloud was covering the mountain top.
See the light on the lower parts of the mountain? That was to tell me that the sunrise was going to happen.
I had to move to a different location to get the emerging sunrise from behind the mountain range, and at last, the sun emerged from behind the mountain range that had blocked it earlier.
That line of sunrise colors started to expand at pace, and then I zoomed in on a line of flying geese.
This was when I saw them at first, and they were all flying according to their seniorities.
So, I applied a bit of extra zoom, and I think they were preparing to change the lead flyer.
They changed and drifted off into the sunrise.
The colors gave way for the daylight, and the half round circle in the picture below caught my eye, so I waited.
Oh yes, the wind from an opposite direction forced the cloud to make a U-turn.
And that was it but let me say that I was happy to see the colors and the birds. Let me tell you that it is still very cold in the early morning hours. The ankle is still troubling me a bit, and I cannot move around very fast as I have to protect it, but I knew that I would get the ankle right again. So, I have to move at a snail's pace, but I don't mind as long as I can get the shots that I want.
We hope that everyone will have a relaxing Sunday and that the batteries will be charged for the start of the new week. I have seen many sunrises in my life, and even as one gets older one can only learn to appreciate them better. It is like old gold that will never fade away.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
