Not a sunset post...

...but rather an unexpected occurrence that might be dangerous.
119.jpg

The original thought was to do a sunset post, but something else appeared in the sky.

A small black dot appeared, and I knew somehow that it was not a bird as it flew about too erratically. Almost like being steered by a human hand. Without giving too much away, before you see the photos, I can tell you that I saw a sight that was very unnerving. We have many planes that land here, both local and international, and the airways are protected by law. No go zones for anything other than planes. Fortunately, I have a keen eye and can at most times see things that others battle to see. So now in this post, I will show you what it was that I saw.
Come and look.

Can you see what that small black dot was?
122.JPG

Yep! As I thought. It was a drone, and it was flying about all "innocently". We know that it is fun to fly them about.
123.JPG

But not in this case, as it was not supposed to be in the restricted airway. You can see what a danger that black dot (drone), below the plane, could cause if it collided with a plane.
125.JPG

No way to identify this drone, even as it came a wee bit closer.
124.JPG

And so, it was all over. The drone was gone, and by this time the sunset clouds were also slowly making way for the night.

We live in uncertain times, and the news headlines are full of drone attacks striking targets with severe consequences. This drone was too small, but if I was a conspiracy theorist then I would make a case here of a drone scouting test to see what would happen if a drone entered the restricted airspace. But thank goodness I am not a conspiracy theorist, and I think that it was just some palooka flying the drone from his garden.

So, if any drone flyers are reading this, please make sure that you know the restriction laws about flying drones in your country.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

keep up the good work

over here you need to get a license before you can fly a drone above a certain weight , but there are more and more leight weight drones on the market that doesn't require a license , and so more morons will be flying the skies without considering the consequences.

Must be rough, I don't think there are drone restriction laws in my country.

Thank God for that little leeway

I thought it was a vulture, the person flying the drone must be close by. but why fly it though in a peaceful area is it to spy on something?

Nope, we don't have spying drones here, and it's most likely a private person practising his drone hobby.

It would be a disaster if that had to happen! They really should be more careful.
You do see interesting sights when out with your camera!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
