Morning, noon, and evening.
Sounds a bit puzzling right? Come and let me show you.
I will show you mountain shots during the morning, afternoon, and evening on the same day.
What a July month, and thankfully the month is almost over now. I say thankfully, as July is always the coldest and wettest winter month over here. Although August is known as the windy month, at least the sniping cold will no longer be present, and as a kid we used to build kites to fly in August. But that was up north, far away from where we are now in the deep south of the country. Over here, the winds don't care about the months, as it can suddenly appear with strength all year round.
So, come and look at what I have for you.
First the morning shots.
We could only see the mountain outlines in the dense morning mists.
The afternoon shots.
Things became a bit clearer during the afternoon, as you will see below.
Later in the day, some clouds started to appear again, and a Sparrow Hawk, that you can see at the left, was chasing after a flock of doves.
And finally, the late sunset shots.
Lovely colors on the mountain range.
And finally, the day was over, as a short while later the sun went to sleep and the dark set in.
One could never expect how any day would turn out these days, as the weather has become very strange, but there is always abundant beauty to be found in the days. One just needs to know how and where to look. When the clouds start to come over, early morning, especially from the west, as it comes in from the Atlantic Ocean, I time the clouds to see which direction the wind is flowing. The strange thing about this, is that the one set of clouds flies in a north-eastern direction, and another set of clouds was flowing towards the south-east, forming a perfect v between the two sets of clouds.
I think the reason for this, is the mountain range behind us as it stretches from the north to the south, and so the clouds split apart to pass over the mountain range instead of going straight over it. Just some of my observations. We are busy reading about the wetlands' destruction, "...and if people only knew how important the wetlands are, and that they are indispensable for human wellbeing, and the ecological balance of the world. Not only that but they also provide myriad eco-system services, including water purification, flood control, carbon sequestration, and support for an astonishing 40% of known plant and animal species".

A sobering thought about how mankind is determined to destroy itself and every other living being on this planet.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Beautiful shots, can't believe it's all in one day, but that's how the weather is behaving nowadays! The sniping Cape winds also bit us this weekend, still chilly at night.
Awful what we're doing to the planet! It will take drastic measures to turn it around.
Have a lovely Wednesday my friend 🤗
Thank you milady, we had two lovely warm days, but now we are cold and wet again, as the first of two new cold fronts landed today. So, beware as they will also visit your area.
Never going to happen, as profit is more important than nature, so they will just continue with their madness, until nothing is left to destroy.
Hope that your Wednesday was also good 🙏
