May peace return to all of mankind.

This picture will show you what Mother nature thinks about the star on a Christmas tree. Some sadness, and some smiles in here.

As soon as this dove landed on a big pine tree, the message jumped into my mind.

I don't need to tell you that our world is slowly falling apart, with terrible weather storms all over and the current wars threatening to expand into World War III. Things are bad enough already with the wars killing many innocents and it seems that there is no end in sight. Rationality has flown out of the window, and revenge, or greed will return with dire consequences to the instigators.
We pray for sanity to emerge and that everyone would give peace a chance.
Such is life and now on a lighter note.

Okay, now the rant is over and let's look at something peaceful.

We were asked by my wife's aunt to baby sit her dog, as she was flying up to Johannesburg to see her family over the Christmas time.
The aunt is 80 years old and little Buddy is 10 years old.

Look how happy my wife is here below to have a little dog at home again.

And also time for some tears, as little Buddy is the same Chihuahua breed as our little Troy that passed away after 17 years old, in November last year.

Their habits are much the same, as buddy sleeps here next to my chair in Troy's place during the day, and at night he sleeps on the left side of our bed at my wife's side.

The wife asked me to take her to the shop for some fresh bread and eggs. I knew that it would be a long wait, so I got out of the car to show you how little Buddy was watching for her return.

Oh yes, she was right as you can see that she got the bread and eggs, but as usual, she tried her best to buy all of the shop's contents.

I wanted to end this post on a lighter note, as this last year 2023, really frayed our nerves with all of the bad sights that we saw in our work with the poor. I can give you a list of all of the wrongs, but I choose not too, as life goes on.
I can however tell you what we are doing in regard to the more than 80,000 schoolgirls that fell pregnant this year. Or no, wait, as I will do a post about it.
Life is tough for all of us, and also many on Hive, but we just roll with the times, and face the problems as best we can.

We wish all of you to have a pleasant and peaceful holiday and also to all those that are not on holiday.
Give peace a chance!
