Advancing cold front clouds.

We awaited the landing of the first of two cold fronts coming in.

This time round the weather predictions were correct, as a couple of hours later, all was black and wet.

A strong cold wind arrived, and it not only created rapid changes in the sky, but it also dropped the temperatures right down. Nevertheless, and notwithstanding, I was out there to show you some stunning views that you will see in this post. Allow me to tell you that adrenaline courses through my arteries and a high excitement makes itself at home in my mind. I can feel the strength of the storm clouds rushing by.

I am one of those that loves storms, even though such severe damages can be caused by them at times. It is especially the wind gusts that can appear at high levels of speed that one has to watch out for. The gusts don't announce their presence, as they appear out of nowhere, and they can blow a person right off their feet. Should you google the strong wind gusts in the Cape, you might also see some pedestrians making no headway against the wind, and it can even blow big trucks over.

Now imagine that you step out of your house early morning, and you see this below of big clouds rising up from the hills.

Finally, things started to turn dark and the light was no good anymore for photography.

Storms never last, is what I take from scenes like this, as it reminds me about the storms that we have in our lives. One day all things look black, and the very next day things look bright again. I am sure you have been in this situation, and I have also been there many times. Okay, I know that the storms can last for a longer period, but I also know that there is always an end to them.

The Western Cape province of South Africa is currently in a storm, as thousands of people are migrating into the Western Cape Municipalities. The people bring their families along and the schools and hospitals are overflowing. There is a lot of development too, that adds to the traffic and puts some strain on the water and electricity, for example.
But such is life.
