A show of wild birdlife...
...and something different here, as a challenge for you to now identify the birds.

How many times now have I posted birds with their full identification? I can only say that I have lost count. And so, today I will not identify any of the birds and my challenge for you is to name them. Please don't id any bird as a chicken, simply because there are no chickens in the pictures. Lol. I will, of course, leave some clues above some pictures.
So, lets see how it goes.
? Clue: The two birds below eat worms.
? This should be an easy one to identify (2 photos).
? Clue: These are the targets of a famous bird of prey (2 photos).
? And here is the famous bird that targets the birds above (2 photos).
And finally, what do you think this bird was? (2 photos)
Just a fun Friday activity, as I always take random shots of birds in flight, and in here I have included some of the birds to see if you can remember their identities. Note that I have posted each one of them before in different contexts. And also note that these are unpublished ones. It is really important to see the value of identifying if one wants to see where they fit into the eco-system and what the birds' part in it is.
Identifying also shows some interesting facts about each one, even the more common species. When I started photography, I did not know much about anything, but nature is like a magnet and once your eye can rest upon any of nature's treasures then one becomes hooked. Yes, at times it takes patience, but ever so slowly a person gets used to it, and that's when nature's gates are opened to show her treasures to one.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Interesting challenge, I like it! Is the first an Ibis? Then there is the goose, and the white flock I'm not sure but nice shot. Very pretty Peregrine shots there, and now that I look at it the last looks like an Ibis. So I was wrong on the first one for sure!
Great pictures in there today and a fun challenge. What were the first couple and the white flock of birds, I'm curious now? I hope things are going well and glad to hear you're still loving photography. It really is a challenging hobby, it's not all just point and shoot!
