A return to the sanity of the mountains.

My favorite place to be, as since childhood, the mountains taught me how to be strong. They don't mind the constant changes, be it storms, fires, or any of the recent wiles of the weather, as they are here for the long term.

Oh yes, I have seen many mountains in my life and they all always reminded me of strength.

No wishy-washy stuff when it comes to mountains, as they have stood around for thousands or millions of years. It is written that our human lives are like a blade of grass, here today and gone tomorrow. So, if the mountains could talk, they will tell us fascinating stories about all of the human ants that they have seen in their time on earth. Just to sit near them and to unshackle the mind from the world and all of its things, is a blessing as one feels energized afterwards.

If it's not the rain, then it's the power-cuts that get to one here and quite often it is both together. Not so bad at night, as we are inside, but during the daylight hours it is a real pain, as it really upends one's plans and life. We have now had the power cuts for many years and during these years we have learned to cope, but it still takes its toll.
Production slumps and mostly everything grinds to a halt. Salaries are cut for the off hours and employees with children stream to the fast-food outlets if a power cut falls during the times that they normally cook their meals. A real circus methinks.
But I am not complaining, as we cope.
