A lovely smooching couple...

...and love is most certainly in the air.

Love is in the air, is a song, and I forget who sang it, but it's very applicable to this situation, as birds are beings that fly in the air.

This is a love story with a twist in the tail.

Humor is always good for the soul, and if you don't read this post, then you will not understand what was going on here. We have this loving couple in here doing their thing, the same as some of us did during our engagement and early marital periods. Then over time we get so used to each other that love flew out the window to be replaced by comfort. Security and trust are essential components of any marriage, and the birds in here take us back to our early betrothed days. Ringneck doves mate for life, but at times I have seen some of the males playing the field when their wives are on the nest.
Very similar to our lives methinks.
Come let Billy and Milly take your thoughts back to your young love.

Another three photos below of them smooching, and then something took place.

They had an audience that, unknown to them, was watching them. Look at that, Sarge the Drongo said to Gary the dove. Do they have no shame? Carrying on like that in public. Shocking, Gary said, and let me go down there. Conveniently forgetting that they did the same thing in their younger days.

Gary landed on a rooftop and shouted, Hey, what do you think you are doing in public?

The two lovers looked up, startled.

So, Gary started moaning at them.

But, Milly was not impressed, and she mooned Gary, flipping her skirt up.

Just something to get you smiling and note that this is not meant to implicate any real persons, as it just reminded me of some instances in my younger days. I am a happy guy with a wonderful wife that stands by me through thick and thin. Our life together is peaceful, and we try to avoid the negatives as much as we can. Yes, there will always be pitfalls for all of us in this life, and our way is to laugh it off, as it is like dogs barking at cars. Humor is essential to cover one's hurt at bad times, and my mom used to say that I will go into the grave with a smile on my face.
Such is life.
