Late afternoon and some great colors and silhouettes in here.

So who says that I cannot get any nature pictures from our new small home?

They forgot that I have a zoom that can cover many miles and the birds in here were indeed very far away. So I waited outside in our tiny garden with my eyes fixed on the sky and I was rewarded for my patience.
But no need for me to tell you about my rewards, as you will see what I got
here below.

The first 4 birds came along and you can see that it was that period just before sunset.

And then another 5 came along, as they were all heading home.

So the lovely colors started.

A change in the flight leadership as they all scrambled to form a new "V" formation, but they disappeared from sight and the light was bad.

Beauty is all around us and it feels so wonderful whenever I get something special, almost like nature has appointed it to show me. Yes, I have this new irritation of cramps in my legs when I stand or walk for long periods, but I just ignore it and carry on as normal. But I have to say that I have cut the very long periods of waiting down to only an hour. And still I get the good things, so life is good.

Mother Nature is just wonderful… and I so understand changes. I’m in the middle of a few.
Maybe talk to more people that had the procedure done? Maybe groups on-line that talk about it…

Sheesh! Packing boxes and unpacking them at the new place happened here on the 18th of July and I have still not recovered 😛
Don't want to see boxes again at least for a few years.

Unfortunately we will not unpack in the new rental. Just personal things we need. This was unplanned.
As we are waiting for our big move abroad. The rental is only until the end of June, so what ever comes first. We will move again hehehe 🤭
It is hard work, especially with no working a/c, land lord doesn’t want to fix anything. So we just had to move.

Oh yes, the temporary moves are always expensive headaches. Landlords refuse to return deposits, payment for storage, deposit for the new place, travel costs for the transport of the goods for the final destination and ....!

When we started Papillon in 2002, we lived in the projector room of a hall for 7 years with no hot water. The area where we lived was a crime hotspot and things became too dangerous to say. The decider for our move was when my phone was taken at gunpoint in front of our place. Then we moved continuously from one little dump to the next.
We didn't have the bucks to pay for decent accommodation, as we are missionaries on very small salaries.
Then a miracle occurred, a well-off couple decided to buy a small house for us in 2015. After a few years I refurbished the house and we sold it at a profit. Then we moved down here in 2018, rented for 6 months and bought another house. I also refurbished that house, sold it and now bought this house.
A mad 10 moves thus far and no wonder my mom called me a Nomad.
A very long story cuT short here !LOL

Yep, exactly like that @papilloncharity 🤓
So far all depots were repayed 🤞🏻🤞🏻 But it is such a hassle.
The last 6 years I moved 9 times. So I know.
This rental, the landlord doesn’t want to fix anything. Is overcharging etc. luckily contract ended and we payed 11 extra days until we could move into our next place Monday.
Some rentals were dangerous, had fires, others the roof was collapsing and others were company relocations etc. a mix of everything hehehe 🤭

O my… I sooo feel for you and do understand.
That was a wonderful turn for you.
Luckily you could fix it up and sell with profits 😊
Hope you are in a better place now. I remember you moving.

Such an amazing co-incidence and I wonder how many others can tell similar stories about the fun of moving. Not funny indeed, but somehow, we are trained to become professional movers.
Maybe you guys and us should start our own moving companies 🤣

Every time we say it's the last, but that is just fooling ourselves, as I am already looking around for my final place.
The couple that paid for the house liked our charity work and later they were both diagnosed with leukemia. We walked with the lady for 12 years before she died. Thankfully the husband made it and yes, it is not a very nice story.

Yes we are nomads and you guys will soon equal our moving times.

It is @papilloncharity 😊 funny… there are a few others here in Hive that moved as much as us.

You know what, I posted about my move some days ago… and I mentioned in the end I should start an international moving company. I even named it 😉 hahaha really I did.
As I have moved in my live close to 50 times in 5 countries 🤓😊 maybe I past your number of moves…

Oh yes… I soooo know. We always say it’s the last time. We already know 2 or 3 more moves coming up in the next years. Maybe even 2 or 3 in one year 😋 hahaha
I shouldn’t be laughing. As it is exhausting to say the least. Not funny at all most of the times.
