Hace un mes atrás tenía un evento importante: mi graduación y realmente quería lucir muy hermosa. Había imaginado ese momento tantas veces en mi mente a lo largo de todos estos años que estuve cursando mis estudios universitarios, y debo decir que cambié de opinión incontables veces de lo que quería usar para ese día pero ya acercándose mucho más la fecha y estando aún indecisa decidí comenzar mi búsqueda hasta que di con el modelo del vestido que había tenido en mi mente. Uno que tuviese el escote algo suelto y que cayera de manera sutil, nada demasiado marcado evitando verse vulgar, más bien clásico y de un color agradable a la vista y además que fuera adecuado para el día.😌

A month ago I had an important event: my graduation and I really wanted to look beautiful. I had imagined that moment so many times in my mind throughout all these years that I was studying at university, and I must say that I changed my mind countless times about what I wanted to wear for that day but as the date was getting closer and I was still undecided I decided to start my search until I found the dress model that I had in my mind. One that had a somewhat loose neckline and that fell in a subtle way, nothing too marked to avoid looking vulgar, rather classic and in a color pleasing to the eye and also that was suitable for the day.😌

Fui a una tienda ubicada en la ciudad y les mostré el vestido que tenía en mente, al hacerlo una de las chicas que ahí atiende comenzó la búsqueda entre todo ese mar de vestidos de diferentes colores, logrando encontrar algunos muy similares a lo que yo buscaba y con el escote que deseaba. Así fue como primero me prove uno color vinotinto, era tal cual el color que quería, pues pensando en mi vestido ideal, lo habia imaginado de un vinotinto oscuro que resaltara en mi piel, la cuál digamos es caucásica. Este vestido era ceñido al cuerpo y con una apertura en la pierna derecha. Realmente me sorprendió que se ajustara perfectamente a mi pues mi cuerpo es un poco ancho en la parte de las caderas y usualmente los vestidos suelen quedarme algo flojos a la altura de la cintura.😕

That's how I was first provided with a vinotint color, it was just like the color I wanted, because thinking about my ideal dress, I had imagined it in a dark vinotint color that would stand out on my skin, which let's say is Caucasian. This dress was tight to the body and with an opening on the right leg. I was really surprised that it fit me perfectly because my body is a little wide in the hips and usually dresses are a little loose around my waist.😕

Justo lo que me sucedió con el próximo vestido que me probé, era color rojo, realmente no era mi gusto en colores pero se veía muy hermoso y pensé que también resaltaría en mí, sin embargo, nunca terminó de convencerme al verlo colgado y al probarmelo supe que sin duda ese vestido no era para mí. Al verlo en mi cuerpo, parecía que de frente quedaba bastante bien, un poco más holgado que el anterior pero en la parte de atrás se notaba que el vestido en mi cintura quedaba bastante ancho y no había manera de poder luego subirlo por mis caderas en caso de hacerle algunos arreglos en esa zona así que fácilmente lo descarté, sin embargo era muy lindo.🥰

Just what happened to me with the next dress I tried on, it was red, it was not really my taste in colors but it looked very beautiful and I thought it would also stand out on me, however, it never ended up convincing me when I saw it hanging and when I tried it on I knew that without a doubt that dress was not for me. When I saw it on my body, it seemed to fit quite well from the front, a little looser than the previous one but in the back I noticed that the dress was quite wide at my waist and there was no way I could pull it up over my hips in case I needed to do some alterations in that area so I easily discarded it, however it was very nice.🥰

El último vestido fue toda una sorpresa pues en mis planes no estaba buscar ni usar un vestido negro ya que había dicho que quería algo diferente pues siempre suelo usar negro y quería salir un poco de esa zona de confort y probar con otros colores que sabía iban a resaltar en mí, pero al ver este vestido que debo admitir, colgado en aquel gancho no llamó ni un poco mi atención, fui convencida a probarmelo y darle una oportunidad y debo decir que al momento de ponermelo quedé encantada, ese era mi vestido. Sentí algo así como lo que sienten las novias cuando encuentran su vestido de bodas jajaja! Pues yo había encontrado el vestido perfecto para mí graduación y no podía sentirme más cómoda y feliz en él. Al lucirlo en mi se veía muy diferente a cuando estaba colgado en el gancho y aunque dije que no quería usar negro, sabía que ya nos había manera de cambiar de opinión, ese era el vestido que deseaba.😍

The last dress was a surprise because in my plans was not to look for or wear a black dress as I had said I wanted something different because I always wear black and I wanted to get out of that comfort zone and try other colors that I knew would stand out in me, but when I saw this dress that I must admit, hanging on that hook did not call my attention, I was convinced to try it on and give it a try and I must say that when I put it on I was delighted, that was my dress. I felt something like what brides feel when they find their wedding dress hahaha! Well I had found the perfect dress for my graduation and I couldn't feel more comfortable and happy in it. When I wore it on me it looked so different than when it was hanging on the hook and even though I said I didn't want to wear black, I knew there was no way I could change my mind, that was the dress I wanted.😍

El negro siempre ha sido mi color favorito, lo amo y aveces lo uso demasiado pero es que para mí el negro luce con absolutamente todo, es elegante, casual, formal. Es simplemente todo en uno y lo adoro. Siempre hay que usar todo con lo que nos sintamos identificados y que disfrutemos, aplica en absolutamente cualquier tipo de prenda y en el color que lo deseemos. Es bueno muchas veces arriesgarse, salir de lo usual pero siempre hay que mantener nuestra escencia y sin duda este vestido lo era en mi. Amo este vestido, con el escote que tanto me había imaginado y esa sutil apertura en la pierna derecha, es simplemente perfecto y estoy muy feliz de haberlo elegido.✨

Black has always been my favorite color, I love it and sometimes I wear it too much but for me black looks with absolutely everything, it's elegant, casual, formal. It is simply all in one and I love it. We should always wear everything that we feel identified with and that we enjoy, it applies to absolutely any type of garment and in any color we want. It is often good to take risks, to go out of the usual but we always have to keep our essence and without a doubt this dress was it for me. I love this dress, with the neckline that I had imagined so much and that subtle opening in the right leg, it is just perfect and I am very happy to have chosen it.✨
