Hola, holaa mis muy adorados amigos hivers, bienvenido a lo que será una de mis ediciones de (redoble de tambores) “máquina del tiempo”, así es, haré esta pequeña sección algunas veces para contar muchas cosas que viví durante el 2023 y que no tuve oportunidad de contar debido al tan limitado tiempo que tenía y mi ausencia en la plataforma, pero como jamás es tarde para contar todo aquello que deseamos y como hoy en día la tecnología logra capturar momentos y trasportarnos a ellos cada que lo deseamos, entonces aquí voy con el primer post en mi sección “máquina del tiempo”.
Por supuesto no contare todo en orden cronológico, solo seré espontánea y compartiré momentos maravillosos de mi 2023 en el 2024 😂. Así que, sin más preámbulos, en este momento daremos un muy pequeño salto al pasado, a una fecha muy linda que compartí con mi pareja... la maravillosa Noche Buena.
Hello, hello my beloved hivers friends, welcome to what will be one of my editions of (drum roll) "time machine", that's right, I will do this little section sometimes to tell many things that I lived during 2023 and I had no opportunity to tell due to the limited time I had and my absence on the platform, but as it is never too late to tell everything we want and as today technology can capture moments and transport us to them whenever we want, so here I go with the first post in my "time machine" section.
Of course I won't tell everything in chronological order, I'll just be spontaneous and share wonderful moments of my 2023 in 2024 😂. So, without further ado, at this moment we will take a very small leap into the past, to a very nice date I shared with my partner... the wonderful Christmas Eve.
Para esta fecha, 24 de diciembre del 2023, junto con mi pareja, que como muchas veces he comentado vive en un estado no muy lejano al mío, decidimos que queríamos pasar esta fecha juntos, así que acordamos que yo viajaría hasta la ciudad donde el se encuentra y pasaría ese fin de semana con él.
Nuestro plan era simple, ya que se solo estaríamos los dos. Como queríamos algo sencillo, se me ocurrió que quizá podríamos hacer algo diferente a lo que hacemos cada año para esta fecha y salir a comer a un restaurant, por supuesto comida navideña que, en mi país, Venezuela, se trata de una hallaca, ensalada de pollo, cochino (cerdo) horneado y pan de jamón, una total exquisitez que en conjunto hacen la mejor cena navideña.
For this date, December 24, 2023, together with my partner, who as I have often mentioned lives in a state not too far from mine, we decided that we wanted to spend this date together, so we agreed that I would travel to the city where he is and spend the weekend with him.
Our plan was simple, since it would just be the two of us. Since we wanted something simple, it occurred to me that maybe we could do something different from what we do every year for this date and go out to eat at a restaurant, of course Christmas food, which in my country, Venezuela, is a hallaca, chicken salad, baked pork and ham bread, a total delicacy that together make the best Christmas dinner.
Después de una gran búsqueda del lugar donde comeríamos, y ya casi dándonos por vencidos pues parecía que todo restaurante estaría cerrado por la fecha, encontramos un sitio bastante fuera de los usual pero que para ambos funcionaba. Se trataba de una panadería, si, leyeron bien, una panadería 😅😂, pero no es como todas, esta tiene diversos ambientes y uno de ellos es restaurant. Como les dije, algo bastante inusual, pero era ya 24 de diciembre y decidimos que iríamos allí pues era el único lugar que estaría trabajando en horas de la noche, además de que lo más importante, tenían el plato navideño que deseábamos.
After a long search for a place to eat, and almost giving up because it seemed that every restaurant would be closed for the date, we found a place quite out of the usual but it worked for both of us. It was a bakery, yes, you read that right, a bakery 😅😂, but it is not like all of them, this one has several environments and one of them is a restaurant. As I told you, something quite unusual, but it was already December 24th and we decided that we would go there because it was the only place that would be working at night, plus the most important thing, they had the Christmas dish we wanted.
We arrived at the place around 8:00 pm and since everything was already prepared, just to serve, we did not have to wait long for the food, something excellent because by that time I was already very hungry. The decoration of the place was quite simple, tables, lights and Christmas decoration, but the protagonist here was the Christmas dish as it was really delicious, the only thing missing was the ham bread that by that time was sold out but the rest of the food, without a doubt, met the expectations very well.
Llegamos al lugar alrededor de las 8:00 pm y como todo ya estaba preparado, solo de servir, no tuvimos que esperara mucho por la comida, algo excelente porque para ese momento ya tenia mucha hambre. La decoración del lugar era bastante sencilla, mesas, luces y decoración de navidad, pero el protagonista aquí fue el plato navideño pues estaba realmente delicioso, lo único que falto fue el pan de jamón que para ese momento se había agotado pero el resto de comida, sin duda, cumplió muy bien las expectativas.
Aprovechamos y nos tomamos algunas fotos y aunque quizá se pregunten por que no estábamos con nuestras familias, la respuesta es muy sencilla, ambos trabajamos en estados distintos a donde viven nuestros familiares y por diversas situaciones de tiempo y trabajo, no nos era conveniente ir a esos sitios, así que decidimos lo que mejor se ajustaba a nuestra agenda y deseos y logramos juntos tener una noche buena maravillosa.
We took advantage and took some pictures and although you may wonder why we were not with our families, the answer is very simple, we both work in different states than where our families live and for various reasons of time and work, it was not convenient for us to go to those places, so we decided what best suited our agenda and desires and together we managed to have a wonderful good night.
