Even when hidden behind the clouds, the sun's rays cannot be obscured. They shine through the clouds, ready to depart and leave their mark on the sky. As the sun slowly disappears behind the clouds, its warm light continues to shine, gradually filling every gap in the clouds above and producing streaks of light that pierce them, signalling the transition from day to night.
