Hola querido hiver.

El 9 de septiembre de 2023 fue un día muy especial para mí porque experimenté por primera vez lo que es encontrarse con otros hivers en persona. La jornada estuvo repleta de emociones, sonrisas, abrazos y momentos que ahora quedan para siempre grabados en nuestras memorias y, cómo no, también en nuestra querida blockchain mediante esta publicación.

Sigo ilusionada con haber podido abrazar a @damarysvibra, @mllg y @josegilberto. Pero es que, además, hubo encuentros virtuales añadidos que te desvelo más adelante.

El día empezó con sorpresa. Cuando llegué a la estación de tren me encontré con que había algún problema por el que ningún tren salía de la estación desde hacía casi dos horas. Menos mal que me gusta ser previsora y suelo contar con cierto margen de tiempo cuando viajo.

El ambiente en la estación estaba tranquilo, organizaron bien nuestro embarque validando los billetes en la hora de la salida y así, en cuanto el tren dispuso de vía, nos acomodamos con rapidez y el retraso respecto a la hora prevista fue de tan solo 15 minutos.

Mi destino era Tarragona, al ir en una tren de alta velocidad el trayecto de unos 230 kilómetros se cubre en una hora. La ciudad de esta foto es Lérida (Lleida), más o menos a mitad de camino. En ella se puede ver la espectacular torre de la Seo Vieja.

Para llegar desde la estación de tren hasta la ciudad de Tarragona tuve que coger un autobús que te acerca en unos 20 minutos. Mereció la pena el ratito de espera, que aproveché para estirar un poco las piernas, pues el billete eran 2,05 euros y un taxi me habría costado alrededor de 10 veces más.

La estación de autobuses de Tarragona me pareció acogedora. Había algunas intervenciones artísticas que le daban un aire más humanizado al que acostumbran estos lugares de tanto trasiego de personas.

Apenas tuve que esperar cuando apareció @damarysvibra a recogerme. Nos fundimos en un abrazo de inmediato, nada de silencios incómodos ni de timideces. Era como si quedáramos todas las semanas, la conversación fluía con naturalidad, pasando de unos temas a otros sin forzar nada.

Como teníamos un par de horas hasta que acudieran @mllg y su familia, paseamos un poco por la Rambla Nova y este monumento a los castellers se llevó mi atención. Te dejo aquí un enlace en el que puedes aprender sobre esta tradición.

Es una escultura a tamaño real a la que no falta detalle alguno. Puedo asegurarlo porque los he visto construir sus torres humanas desde muy cerca. Es un espectáculo que te recomiendo si se da la ocasión de que lo disfrutes.

Las dos horas pasaron volando y acudimos a esta cafetería en la que comimos algo y esperamos nuestro segundo encuentro del día.

Al poco rato apareció nuestra querida @mllg con su marido @josegilberto y su hijo. Forman una familia encantadora. De nuevo con ellos la conversación fluyó y pudimos intercambiar opiniones, noticias y deseos.

¡No podíamos dejar fuera al caballero! La amiga @damarysvibra nos repartió unas tarjetas para que sirvan de recuerdo de nuestro encuentro. Soy un desastre para este tipo de detalles...

Cuando estábamos reunidos al completo aprovechamos para hacer una videollamada con @evagavilan2 que no pudo acudir por coincidir con una evento familiar. Al menos pudimos enviarnos besos pantalla mediante.

Para acabar, llamamos a @felixgarciap que tampoco pudo venir y fuimos pasando el teléfono para conversar unos minutos cada uno.

Cuando la familia de @mllg tuvo que marcharse, @damarysvibra y yo nos dimos otro paseo hasta que me acercaron de nuevo a la estación de tren al final de la tarde.

Mi tarjeta firmada por todos descansa en un lugar destacado para tenerla presente cada vez que me siente a escribir en el ordenador, como ahora mismo.

Hi, dear hiver.

9 September 2023 was a very special day for me because I experienced for the first time what it is like to meet other hivers in person. The day was full of emotions, smiles, hugs and moments that are now forever engraved in our memories and, of course, also in our beloved blockchain through this publication.

I'm still excited to have been able to hug @damarysvibra, @mllg and @josegilberto. But there were also some additional virtual encounters that I will reveal to you later on.

The day started with a surprise. When I arrived at the train station I found that there had been a problem with no train leaving the station for almost two hours. Fortunately, I like to be proactive and I usually have a certain amount of time to spare when I travel.

The atmosphere at the station was calm, they organised our boarding well, validating our tickets at the time of departure and so, as soon as the train had a track, we were quickly accommodated and the delay with respect to the scheduled time was only 15 minutes.

My destination was Tarragona, and as I was on a high-speed train, the 230-kilometre journey was covered in an hour. The city in this photo is Lérida (Lleida), more or less halfway. Here you can see the spectacular tower of the Seo Vieja.

To get from the train station to the city of Tarragona I had to take a bus that takes about 20 minutes. It was worth the short wait, which I took advantage of to stretch my legs a bit, as the ticket was 2.05 euros and a taxi would have cost me about 10 times as much.

I found the Tarragona bus station welcoming. There were some artistic interventions that gave it a more humanised air than these busy places are used to.

I barely had to wait when @damarysvibra showed up to pick me up. We melted into a hug immediately, no awkward silences or shyness. It was as if we met every week, the conversation flowed naturally, moving from one topic to another without forcing anything.

As we had a couple of hours until @mllg and his family arrived, we strolled a bit along the Rambla Nova and this monument to the castellers caught my attention. Here's a link where you can learn about this tradition.

It is a life-size sculpture with no detail missing. I can tell because I have seen them build their human towers from up close. It is a spectacle that I recommend if you get the chance to enjoy it.

Yes, I caught @damarysvibra red-handed here, hahahaha.

The two hours flew by and we went to this cafeteria where we had a bite to eat and waited for our second meeting of the day.

Soon after our dear @mllg appeared with her husband @josegilberto and their son. They are a lovely family. Again with them the conversation flowed and we were able to exchange opinions, news and wishes.

We couldn't leave out the gentleman! Our friend @damarysvibra gave us some cards as a souvenir of our meeting. I'm a disaster for this kind of details....

When we were all together we took the opportunity to make a video call with @evagavilan2 who couldn't make it due to a family event. At least we were able to send kisses to each other on the screen.

Finally, we called @felixgarciap who couldn't come either and we passed the phone to talk for a few minutes each.

When @mllg's family had to leave, @damarysvibra and I went for another walk until they took me back to the train station at the end of the afternoon.

My card signed by all rests in a prominent place for me to keep in mind whenever I sit down to write on the computer, like right now.
