Hola querido hiver.

Me resisto a abandonar el espíritu navideño en mis publicaciones. Por eso hoy te traigo este foto-ensayo en el que te muestro decoraciones navideñas que me llamaron la atención en mis paseos por la ciudad.

Papá Noel es el personaje más internacional. Si eres de los que espera sus regalos cada año, espero que haya sido generoso contigo.

Las decoraciones vegetales me encantan. La combinación de colores verde y rojo junto al dorado aportan calidez a este tiempo frío en el Hemisferio Norte.

En los últimos años se ha puesto de moda por aquí recrear escenas navideñas. Nos empeñamos en asociar la Navidad con la nieve, cuando es raro ver este meteoro por estas latitudes. Es difícil resistirse a la atmósfera y belleza que el manto blanco otorga.

La que sí es tradicional es la representación de la escena del Nacimiento. Hay múltiples variaciones e interpretaciones, pero los tres personajes que nunca faltan son el matrimonio con el Niño Jesús.

Hay quien instala nacimientos enormes. Colocan figuras de todo tipo, ambientados en la época de inicios de nuestra era. Para ellos los puestos de artesanía son peligrosos, pues se me antoja difícil resistirse a comprar nuevos elementos.

Los elementos pueden ser tanto animados como estáticos. Hay hasta mecanismos que mueven las figuras o corrientes de agua que añaden realismo a las escenas.

Por último, algo que no podía faltar en mi recopilación son las bolas de nieve. Me transportan a las ensoñaciones infantiles, cuando la magia de la Navidad estaba intacta en mi mente y pensaba que todo podía hacerse realidad. ¿Acaso no es así?

I refuse to abandon the Christmas spirit in my publications. That's why today I bring you this photo-essay in which I show you Christmas decorations that caught my eye on my walks around the city.

I love the plant decorations. The combination of green and red with the gold brings warmth to this cold weather in the Northern Hemisphere.

In recent years it has become fashionable around here to recreate Christmas scenes. We insist on associating Christmas with snow, when it is rare to see this meteor in these latitudes. It is hard to resist the atmosphere and beauty of the white blanket.

What is traditional is the representation of the Nativity scene. There are many variations and interpretations, but the three characters that are never missing are the couple with the Child Jesus.

Some people set up huge nativity scenes. They put up figures of all kinds, set in the era of the beginning of our era. For them, the craft stalls are dangerous, as I find it hard to resist buying new items.

Elements can be both animated and static. There are even mechanisms that move the figures or water currents that add realism to the scenes.

Last but not least, something that could not be missing in my compilation are the snow globes. They take me back to my childhood daydreams, when the magic of Christmas was intact in my mind and I thought that everything could come true. Isn't it?
