Hola querido hiver.

Una semana más la comunidad Photo-essay celebra su concurso en torno a los colores. En esta ocasión pasamos al color blanco y usamos la etiqueta #white-essay. Con 5 fotografías y 150 palabras que las describan, ya puedes publicar.

Por si te animas, te dejo aquí el enlace a la convocatoria de esta semana. Esta publicación es mi participación y te invito a que te unas y compartas con nosotros tus propias fotos.

En la escuela hicimos un "experimento" que consistía en dividir un círculo de cartulina en siete partes y pintar cada una de ellas con uno de los colores del arco iris. Después, no recuerdo bien cómo, lo hacíamos girar a toda velocidad y como por arte de magia los colores se fundían en uno solo, que no estaba presente en nuestro pedazo de cartulina: ¡era el blanco!

Vamos, pues, a buscar todos los colores en uno. La naturaleza es prolija en ofrecernos en el mundo de las flores ejemplares de gran belleza. Esta es una pequeña colección de las variedades que he ido capturando en los últimos meses. He consultado con la Wikipedia para asegurarme de que los nombres son los correctos, al menos según lo que detecta el identificador de imágenes del móvil.

La portada es una flor de magnolio. Es impresionante de grande, la lástima es que no había ninguna al alcance para fotografiarla desde arriba.

Trébol blanco.

El envés de las hojas del álamo blanco o chopo.

El mismo árbol, en su floración, con sus semillas envueltas por una especie de algodón.

Para que no sean todo plantas, termino con otras tres imágenes con el blanco presente.

La concha de este caracol. (Perdón para mis lectores argentinos, jeje)

Donde estoy la mayor parte del tiempo.

Y donde me gustaría estar, por lo refrescante y por la energía que me aporta.

One more week the Photo-essay community celebrates its colour contest. This time we are turning to the colour white and using the hashtag #white-essay. With 5 photos and 150 words to describe them, you can publish.

Then, I don't quite remember how, we spun it around at full speed and, as if by magic, the colours merged into one, which was not present on our piece of cardboard: it was white!

So let's look for all the colours in one. In the world of flowers, nature is very prolific in offering us specimens of great beauty. This is a small collection of the varieties that I have been capturing over the last few months. I have checked with Wikipedia to make sure that the names are correct, at least according to what my mobile phone's image identifier detects.

The cover is a magnolia flower. It is impressive how big it is, the pity is that there was none within reach to photograph it from above.
